From Graduates

I attended The Seed from 1994 through 1996. Some of my fondest childhood memories originated at The Seed where I made lifelong friends in both the children my age as well as the great people who work there. I return year after year during the annual open house to greet the teachers who helped me learn and grow over 17 years ago. Because of my love for The Seed, I volunteered three of my summers to help out with the children who attended the summer program. The Seed provided me with the greatest preschool and kindergarten environment that helped me begin the process of shaping me into the person that I am today.

Some of my earliest, and happiest, memories are from my time at The Seed, which I entered in 1990. Beginning with preschool and advancing through kindergarten, the teachers created a loving, fun and nurturing environment which not only encouraged children to grow and develop, but to gain a sense of responsibility and compassion for their peers and others. After leaving The Seed, I carried those values with me, first through Yorktown’s public schools, and eventually to UCLA. Following graduation from college this year, I decided to join Teach for America, a nonprofit organization which aims to close the educational gap by placing recent college graduates to teach in underperforming, low-income schools around the country. After my two-year service commitment is over, I plan on pursuing a career in medicine, with the long-term goal of practicing in rural, low-income communities.

I attended The Seed 12 years ago and came back to visit. I remember having a wonderful experience here: the food was marvelous, I was always well-rested and the teachers were the absolute best. I have nothing but fond childhood memories here.

I attended The Seed over 12 years ago and came back to visit after senior year. It still seems like a great place with an amazing faculty who are excellent at their jobs and working with children.

The Seed was where I spent my childhood beginning years. I will always have fond memories here. I was so impressed to come back and have every teacher hug me and remember my name. This place will always be a symbol of love for me. ♥ I’m graduating high school now and I can’t wait to come visit again!

I have been coming to The Seed since I was three years old! I love The Seed so much that I come back to help every year with the Open House and Book Fair. This is one of my favorite places in the world!
