Our Program

The Seed Kindergarten is an all-day program registered with the State Education Department and taught by New York State-certified teachers. It follows a curriculum that prepares children for first grade, with a focus on language arts, math, science, music, creative expression and social competence. Our small classes and teaching methods provide an atmosphere which allows children to advance at their own pace.

The Seed’s kindergarten program is especially suited to families who need all-day care. It is a homey, safe, learning environment for young children. Formal instruction takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with time for lunch and rest at noon. Activities continue into the afternoon in a variety of free play, art, music, computers, and socio-emotional learning.
